Many processes taking place on earth, particularly between people, carry the image of greater spiritual phenomena. Marriage, which takes place in the image of Christ’s Union with the Church, is no exception. The Orthodox Church crowns only believers, and people of the opposite sex baptized in Christ, who wish to seal and sanctify their marital Union by the grace of the Holy spirit.
Adam and Eve the sixth day (period) of his creation, God created man. And he gave him the name Adam, which means-taken from the earth. Since his body was created by God from the same material as the bodies of all earthly creatures. But there was no man equal to him assistant, among other living beings on earth. Then the Lord put Adam to sleep soundly, and from his rib created a wife, whom he called eve, which means-the mother of all people. Adam was very grateful to God for his wife. Continue reading
